How to Change Holidays on Samsung Calendar

Managing your schedule and keeping track of important dates is essential in today’s fast-paced world. Samsung Calendar is a popular app that comes pre-installed on many Samsung devices, making it easy to organize your day-to-day activities. One of the useful features of the Samsung Calendar is the ability to customize holidays. In this article, we will guide you through the process of how to change holidays on Samsung Calendar, ensuring that you never miss any important dates.

First, open the Samsung Calendar app on your device. You can find it on your home screen or in the app drawer. Once the app is open, tap on the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner to access the menu.

Next, scroll down and tap on “Settings.” This will open a new menu where you can adjust various settings for your calendar.

Within the Settings menu, find and tap on “Holidays.” This section allows you to manage the holidays that are displayed on your calendar.

By default, Samsung Calendar comes with a list of global holidays. However, you can add, remove, or edit these holidays according to your preference. To add a new holiday, tap on the “+” icon at the bottom of the screen. You will be prompted to enter the name of the holiday, select the date, and choose the country if applicable.

For existing holidays, you can tap on the holiday you want to edit or remove. To edit a holiday, tap on the pencil icon. Here, you can change the name, date, or country of the holiday. To remove a holiday, simply tap on the trash can icon.

Once you have made the desired changes, tap on “Save” to apply the updates. The changes will be reflected immediately on your Samsung Calendar, and you will be able to see the updated list of holidays.

Additionally, you can also set reminders for these holidays to ensure you don’t miss any important events. To do this, go back to the Holidays section and tap on the three dots next to the holiday you want to set a reminder for. Select “Set Reminder” and choose the time and date for the reminder.
